Bring one story your grandma swears is true. Leave with twelve more, at least three of which are legally dubious.
Leaf Pigment Thingamajigger
We simmer leaves in a bubbling dye pot until they confess their colors onto cloth. The technical term is thingamajigger. Bring something to dye for.

The School of Barn Raising
Come for the check-ins, and stay for the chickens. These are skills for showing up for each other — pooling ideas, pooling labor, pooling snacks. Practice community building, confidence, and capture-the-flag with peers who understand that no one builds a barn alone.
